Dallas-based American Consolidated Media, LP ("ACM") is a publisher of community newspapers and shopping publications. ACM was formed in 1998 by Jeremy Halbreich, formerly president and general manager of The Dallas Morning News. In July 2004, ACM acquired Valley Media, a publisher of five shopper and community newspaper publications in the Lower Rio Grande Valley, one of the fastest growing regions in the U.S. ACM expect acquired several other additional publications complementary to its existing clusters.

In February 2007, Halyard realized its investment in ACM in connection with the sale of the company to Macquarie Media Group.
